(VNA)- The Viet Nam Journalists' Association (VJA) chief has urged mass media to focus on promoting national images in the international arena amid the increasing globalisation trend. VJA President Dinh The Huynh told a conference of the executive board on April 23 that all media organisations should work hard to actively contribute to national development as well as the global integration. The association will further develop journalism as well as ethic rules for its staff in order to improve the prestige of mass media both inside and outside the country. To this effect, a conference on Vietnamese media’s roadmap towards international integration is scheduled to take place soon./.
