Danish Queen values ties with Vietnam
(VNA): Denmark's Queen Margrethe II has told the new Vietnamese Ambassador to Denmark that she values the relationship between her country and Vietnam and expressed her wish for the continued development of the bilateral ties.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Denmark Nguyen Xuan Hong presented his credentials to the Queen on April 7, and conveyed to her the best regards from State President Tran Duc Luong and other Vietnamese Party and State leaders.
On behalf of Vietnamese leaders and people, Hong expressed his thanks to the Danish Queen, Government and people for their generous assistance to Vietnam. He stressed that Denmark's aid has played an active role in Vietnam's socio-economic development, reflected by the results of Denmark-funded projects in agriculture, fisheries, environment, water supply, education, and administration reform./.
