Vietnamese, Singaporean armies seek stronger cooperation
(VNA) - A senior Vietnamese army officer has expressed his hope that the Viet Nam People's Army and the Army of Singapore will further promote cooperation in personnel training and increase the exchange of visits.
While receiving Singaporean Minister for Manpower and Second Minister of Defence Ng Eng Hen in Ha Noi on Mar. 15, Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Khac Nghien, Chief of the General Staff of the Viet Nam People's Army (VPA) also affirmed that the VPA is willing to share experiences with its Singaporean counterpart.
For his part, Minister Ng highlighted the recent progress in relations between the two armies as a foundation for them to expand bilateral cooperation to other fields, thus further developing their friendly and reliable ties./.
