State President sets off for visits to Russia and Mongolia
Hanoi (VNA) – State President Nguyen Minh Triet and his wife left Hanoi on Oct. 26 for official visits to Russia and Mongolia .
The State President is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem, Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang, Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Public Security, Planning and Investment, Science and Technology, Education and Training, and Agriculture and Rural Development, among other high-ranking officials.
The visits to Russia and Mongolia , lasting from Oct. 26-29 and Oct. 30-31, respectively, are made at the invitation of Russian President Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev and Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar.
