Vietnam, Bulgaria expect further cooperation
Received by Vietnamese PM Nguyen Tan Dung on Nov. 4, the Bulgarian Deputy PM said he wished the two countries to boost their cooperation in agriculture, particularly in research for new varieties, as well as in culture, tourism and investment.
He affirmed that Bulgaria is eager to use ODA capital to support Vietnam, particularly in education.
He recommended Vietnam to transport its commodities to European countries via Bulgaria’s ports.
The Deputy PM also said the Bulgarian President is scheduled to visit Vietnam next year to mark a significant development in the two countries’ 60-year-long bilateral relations.
PM Dung appreciated the results of the talks between Deputy PM Kalfin and his counterpart Pham Gia Khiem.
He praised the valuable assistance the Bulgarian people had given to Vietnam during its struggle for national independence in the past and national construction at present.
He said Bulgaria helped Vietnam to train many cadres, who now are holding important positions in Vietnam and also serving as bridges for development of the two countries’ relations.
