Deputy PM Truong Vinh Trong made the remarks in Ha Noi on June 27 when receiving Ms. Izaskun Gaviria, Viet Nam Program Officer of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
The Deputy PM highly appreciated effective assistance offered by the fund, which has so far pledged a total of US $160 million for HIV/AIDS prevention and fight in Viet Nam.
Ms. Izaskun Gaviria confirmed that the fund will continue to work closely with Viet Nam, expressing her hopes of gaining assistance for the fund’s successful organization of its conference in the country in September.
