Overseas Vietnamese in Volgograd help poor students
(VOV - 4/9/2011) - Representatives of the Vietnamese Overseas Association in Volgograd, Russia, and the Volga-Viet Company have donated 150 gifts to poor students in seven schools in the city.
Representing the Volga-Viet Company, Tran Duc Thiet said the presents, including schoolbags, books and notebooks, will help disadvantaged students prepare for the new school-year.
He also added that, through such charitable activities, the solidarity and friendship between Viet Nam and Russia will be strengthened.
