National Assembly Vice Chairman visits RoK
During an official visit to the RoK from Dec. 13-19, Thanh held talks with his RoK counterpart Kim Duk-kyu and paid a courtesy visit to Speaker of the RoK National Assembly Kim Won-ki.
Thanh, who is President of the Viet Nam-RoK Friendship Association, also met with President of the ruling Uri Party Lee Boo-young, Minister of Labour Kim Dae-hwan, Minister of Information and Communication Chin Dae-je, and had a working session with leaders of the RoK-Viet Nam Friendship Association.
At those meetings, the two sides also expressed determination to develop the two countries' bilateral ties into a comprehensive partnership in the 21st century.
