PM leaves for Russia, Czech Republic and Poland visits


Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dzung and his wife left Ha Noi on Sept. 9 for official visits to the Russian Federation, the Czech Republic and the Republic of Poland.

The visits, which will run from Sept. 9th - 15th, are being made at the invitation of Russian PM Mikhail Ephimovich Fradkov, Czech PM Mirek Topolanek, and Polish PM Iaroslaw Kaczynski.

The Vietnamese Government leader is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai, Minister and Head of the Government Office Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang, and other senior officials.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dzung and the high-level delegation of Viet Nam arrived in Saint Petersburg on the afternoon of September 9 for the official visit to Russia.

On September 10th, PM Dzung meets with St. Petersburg Mayor Valentina Matvienko before leaving for the Russian capital of Moscow.

PM Dzung is scheduled to hold talks with his Russian counterpart Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov on September 11th. The Vietnamese Governmental leader is also scheduled to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin.-(VNA)
