PM Dung receives leaders to ASEM-8
The leaders discussed measures to boost ties with Vietnam and increase joint coordination at multilateral and regional cooperation forums.
They praised Vietnam ’s role in the region and its management as ASEAN President and wished to further their relations with Vietnam .
Chinese Premier Wen said he would attend the East Asia Summit and relevant meetings slated for October 2010 in Hanoi .
PM Dung congratulated Australia on its admission to the ASEM forum and wished to promote bilateral ties between Vietnam and Australia on international forums.
The Australian PM agreed that both sides need to complete an action programme to carry out the framework of bilateral comprehensive partnership.
PM Dung and his Estonian counterpart Andrus Anship agreed that both sides should soon sign agreements on investment protection and double taxation avoidance and other accords to boost bilateral economic ties.
On the occasion, Deputy Foreign Minister Doan Xuan Hung held working sessions with chief advisor to the Hungarian PM on matters of European policies and international economic relations Gottfried Peter and Maltese Deputy PM and FM Tonio Borg./.
