Leaders congratulate France on National Day
(VGP - 13/07/2011) – State President Nguyen Minh Triet on July 13 cabled a congratulatory message to French President Nicolas Sarkozy on the occasion of the 222nd anniversary of the French Republic (July 4, 1789).
The same day, PM Nguyen Tan Dung and Deputy PM, FM Pham Gia Khiem separately sent messages of greetings to French PM Francois Fillon and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Alain Juppé, respectively.
The French National Day is also called the Bastille Day.
