Foreign ministries of Viet Nam, China set up hotline |

(VGP - 03/03/2012) - Deputy Foreign Minister Hồ Xuân Sơn on March 2 conversed over phone with his Chinese counterpart Zhang Zhijun, kick-starting a hotline between the two Foreign Ministries.

During the talk, the two officials affirmed that both sides will closely coordinate in implementing their leaders’ common consensus on strengthening the Việt Nam-China strategic and comprehensive cooperation partnership.
They also confirmed that both ministries will work to establish mechanisms for supporting negotiations over maritime issues and to deal with rising problems in a timely manner for he sake of peace in the East Sea. |
