Remark by Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Spokesman on the Russian presidential election
On March 5, Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Luong Thanh Nghi made the following remark on the result of the Russian presidential election:
“We express our congratulations to the Russian Federation on its successful presidential election and to H.E. Mr. Vladimir Putin on his victory.
We believe that under the leadership of President Vladimir Putin, the people of the Russian Federation will continue their success in the national modernization and the Russian Federation will further prosper, elevating its international role and status and contributing to peace, stability and prosperity in the region and in the world.
We also believe that Viet Nam - Russia strategic partnership, for which President Vladimir Putin is among those who laid the foundation, will continue its robust development in the interest of the two peoples and that the traditional friendship between the two peoples will be further long-lasting."
