Thai political party leader keen on Viet Nam
The leader of Thailand's longest running political party, the Democrat Party, Abhisit Vejjajiva, has affirmed that his party wants to make contribution to fostering bilateral relations between Thailand and Viet Nam, particularly in trade and investment.
The visiting political party leader made the remark in Ha Noi on August 22 while meeting with Truong Tan Sang, Politburo member and permanent member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV).
Sang welcomed Abhisit Vejjajiva’s visit to Viet Nam to attend top 100 Southeast Asian entrepreneurs’ forum and said he hoped that both sides would increase economic cooperation and co-ordination at regional and international forums.-(VNA)
