General Sonthi Boonyaratglin, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army, paid an official visit to Viet Nam from September 11-12.

The general and his entourage were received by Lieut. Gen. Pham Hong Loi, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, before paying a courtesy call to Sen. Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Khac Nghien, Chief of the General Staff of the Viet Nam People’s Army.

The Thai delegates also laid a wreath at President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and called at the Literature Temple (Van Mieu) and several tourist spots throughout the capital city.-(VNA)
