Vietnamese, Swiss universities boost training cooperation

Geneva (VNA) – The Vietnam National University of Economics (VNUE) and Switzerland’s Fribourg University signed a training cooperation agreement in Bern on February 1.

The agreement, inked under the witness of visiting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thien Nhan, aims to boost tertiary training cooperation and exchange of training and research experiences between the two universities, helping strengthen their friendship and increase mutual benefits.

According to VNUE Rector Nguyen Van Nam, under the five-year agreement, the two sides will cooperate in economic and management training, share information on issues of common interests and boost the exchange of teachers and students.

Nam expressed his hope that with the two governments’ attention, the two universities’ relationship would further develop, bringing more study and research opportunities to Vietnamese and Swiss teachers and students.
