Swiss Eurasia funds centre for the disabled
VNA - The central province of Thua Thien-Hue has put into operation a centre in support of the disabled in Hue city, the 10 th of its kind in the city.
The Tinh Truc Gia centre, built at a cost of 6 billion VND with funding from the Eurasia Association of Switzerland, includes a dormitory, a production workshop and an educational and early prevention database centre.
The 10 centres provide free food, education, healthcare, nutrition and vocational training for children in special difficulties.
The city is home to over 1,200 orphans, almost 1,000 disabled and 300 street children in need of social support./.
