At the invitation of U.S President G. Bush, Vietnamese President Nguyen Minh Triet is scheduled to pay an official visit to the United States in the coming time.

Currently, Vietnam and the United States are actively coordinating to prepare for the visit. During his recent visit to Vietnam, US Assistant State Secretary  C. Hill held talks with the Vietnamese side on issues concerning the Vietnam-US relations and the preparation for President Nguyen Minh Triet’s visit to the United States. An advance team from Vietnam’s Foreign Ministry is expected to depart for the United States this week./.
