Vietnam, Egypt look to stronger inspection ties
Hanoi (VNA) – Inspectors of Vietnam and Egypt have agreed to increase the exchange of experiences and information to reinforce the fight against crimes and to ensure healthy operations of their societies and state apparatuses.
Inspector General of the Vietnamese Government Inspectorate Tran Van Truyen and Chairman of the Egyptian Administrative Control Authority (ACA) Mohamed El-Tohamy reached consensus on the issue during the Vietnamese chief inspector’s visit to Egypt from Oct. 8-15.
The officials shared experiences related to the inspection and supervision work as well as the efforts to combat red tape, corruption and crimes, particularly economic crimes, in Vietnam and Egypt.
While in Egypt, the Vietnamese delegation also met with a number of ACA professional staff members and visited Cairo and other major cities.
