Prime Minister meets with New Zealander counterpart

PM John Key affirmed that New Zealand would maintain ODA provision for Viet Nam while suggesting the two sides strengthen reciprocal visits.
The two sides agreed to hold the 4th session of the Viet Nam-New Zealand Joint Committee for Economic and Trade Cooperation.
PM Dung replied he treasured the cooperation between New Zealand and ASEAN and the country’s posititive contribution to regional and international forums.
For his part, PM John Key thanked Viet Nam for supporting New Zealand’s run for the non-permanent seat at the United Nations Security Council in the 2015-2016 period.
He noted that New Zealand would continue to work with Viet Nam in the negotiation process for the Trans-Pacific Parnership (TPP) Agreement./.
