Viet Nam, Laos facilitate entry and exit activities at common border gates
(VNA) - Measures to simplify entry-exit procedures for tourists and local people through common border gates between Laos and Viet Nam were discussed at a meeting in Laos' Huaphane province.
Participants were from Huaphane and Xiengkhuang provinces of Laos and Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces of Viet Nam.
The participants praised cooperation among the four provinces in the recent past, and worked out concrete measures to further facilitate the entry and exit for tourists and businessmen of the two countries.
The two sides also discussed a number of key matters to boost cooperation at their common border gates, tourist promotion, market study and construction of facilities./.
