Viet Nam, Laos share expertise on mass media work
(VNA) - Viet Nam and Laos have shared their experiences in the arenas of politics, ideological work, public education and mass media work.
A workshop to discuss the issues was held in Laos on April 12, between visiting To Huy Rua, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Director of the Commission for Propaganda and Training, and Samane Vinhaketh, Politburo member of the Lao Peoples Revolutionary Party (LPRP), who is also Head of the LPRP Central Committees Steering Board for Ideology, Theory and Culture.
Both sides discussed measures to tighten cooperation between the two commissions.
They also agreed to instruct their government departments to make preparations to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the Viet Nam-Laos diplomatic ties (Sept. 5) and the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Viet Nam-Laos Friendship and Cooperation Treaty (July 18)./.
