Viet Nam, Laos enhance judicial cooperation
The Vietnamese and Lao ministries of justice signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on bilateral cooperation for the 2007-2010 period in Ha Noi on June 28.
The deal was made during talks between Vietnamese Minister of Justice Uong Chu Luu and his Lao counterpart Chaleuan Yapaoher.
The two ministries agreed to exchange visits once every year to share experience in legal document drafting, verifying, checking and systemising as well as international treaty drafting and negotiation skills and administrative management at judicial agencies.
During his Viet Nam's visit from June 27-July 3, the Lao minister plans to work with the People's Supreme Court, the People's Supreme Procuracy, the Ho Chi Minh National Politics and Administrative Institute and the Ha Noi Law University.(VNA)
