US businesses welcome Vietnamese President
The US-ASEAN Business Council is privileged to welcome Vietnamese State President Nguyen Minh Triet in Washington, DC, said Matthew Daley, the Council's president.
The Council and the US Chamber of Commerce are expected to host President Triet and his delegation at a luncheon attended by representatives from government, diplomatic, think-tank, and media communities on June 21, according to the Council's press release.
"In our roundtable discussion with the President, we will talk about our shared goal of increasing US trade with and investment in Viet Nam," said Matthew Daley.
Viet Nam has moved into the global spotlight over the past year, fuelled by its tremendous economic growth. The number of companies supporting the luncheon exemplifies Viet Nam's position as a fertile investment environment, the press release stressed.(VNA)
