State President welcomes newly-appointed ambassadors
President Triet made this statement while receiving newly-accredited ambassadors from the Netherlands, Singapore, Myanmar, the Republic of Seychelles, Latvia and Albania, who presented their credentials to him in Hanoi on March 3.
He suggested that the ambassadors boost the exchange of visits between ministries, agencies and localities to study opportunities for cooperation.
The relevant Vietnamese agencies will create favourable conditions for the ambassadors to fulfill their work in Vietnam, Triet said.
He also expressed his wish that the ambassadors make active contributions to developing the relationship between Vietnam and their respective countries./.
