More congratulations to newly elected leaders
Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni, Prime Minister Hun Sen and Senate President Chea Sim and Parliament President Heng Samrin s ent congratulatory messages to Vietnamese State President Truong Tan Sang, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung.
In the messages, the Cambodian leaders expressed their belief that under the leadership of President Truong Tan Sang, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, Viet Nam would gain greater achievements in national construction and development, playing an important role in the region and the world.
They also expressed hope that friendship, solidarity, cooperation and mutual understanding between the two countries would be further developed for happiness and common prosperity.
The Vietnamese State leader also received a congratulatory message from Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Yong Nam .
The DPRK leader expressed his belief that the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries, which was built on the path of fighting against imperialism and for socialism, would continue to be boosted in line with the benefits and aspirations of the two peoples.
Indian President Pratibha Devisingh Patil sent a message of congratulations to State President Truong Tan Sang. She said that India and Viet Nam have an traditional close relationship and cooperation for mutual benefits that are built on the firm foundation created by President Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and President Ho Chi Minh.
The Indian leader also said that the strategic partnership and close cooperation between the two countries at ASEAN and related forums helped tighten bilateral relations.
President of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Lee Myung-bak also sent a message of congratulations to State President Truong Tan Sang, expressing his pleasure at the expansion of cooperation between the RoK and Viet Nam in every field after the two countries upgraded their relations to strategic cooperative partnership in 2009.
He also expressed his wish to continue boosting cooperation with President Truong Tan Sang to further strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two countries in the future./.
